Who doesn’t love chocolate? And who doesn’t love caramel? Nobody! Caramel white chocolate (or any kind of chocolate) is the perfect edible gift made in 10 minutes for anybody!

Literally the easiest recipe ever! This isn’t even a real recipe. I think everybody needs a go-to gift ideas. For me these are home made chocolate bars.

Everybody loves some kind of chocolate; dark, milk, white, it doesn’t matter. And you can find something else that person (who you need a gift for) likes and goes with chocolate. Tadaaam your present is almost ready. Now the only thing you have to do is melt some chocolate.

I ordered this chocolate mold from a hungarian page but I found tons of plastic molds on amazon too. So go and order a chocolate bar mold and you won’t regret it.

And let’s talk about this bar. I used my home made caramel sauce recipe. It’s sweet and smooth and sooo dense. I know caramel with white chocolate is an extra sweet treat so if you aren’t a huge fan of super sweet things you can use dark or milk chocolate instead. Seriously the possibilites are endless. You can add nuts, dried fruits, shredded coconut, cookie pieces or candy pieces.

You can make a few bars ahead and store it in an air tight container until giving them to someone (or eating all of them yourself).

Caramel White Chocolate Bar

Prep Time: 5 min. Cooling Time: 30 min. Total Time: 45 min. Portions: one 100g bar

Ingredients:

  • around 100g white chocolate (or dark/milk make sure you use good quality)

  • a few tablespoons caramel sauce (here is my recipe or you can use store bought)

Directions:

  1. Melt 2/3 of your chocolate (around 65g) on a bain-marine. ( Fill a pot with water and start boiling it. Then put a metal or glass bowl on top of the pot. Be careful and make sure that the bottom of the bowl isn’t in the water and the bowl is big enough. When you stir the chocolate use a kitchen cloth to hold the bowl because it can be hot.)

  2. When the chocolate is melted take it off from the bain-marine and stir in the other 1/3 of the chocolate. Make sure that all of your chocolate is melted.

  3. Put a few tablespoons of your melted chocolate into your mold and with a small spoon push it up to the sides and into all the gaps. Tap your mold to the table a few times until all the air bubbles come out.

  4. Put your mold to the freezer for 15 minutes. Then fill it with the caramel sauce leaving a little space on the top and at the edges. Make sure your filling isn’t warm at all or it will melt your chocolate. Cover it with the rest of your chocolate. Tap it down again and put it back to the freezer for 15 minutes or until it’s completly hard. You can easily turn it out from your mold.
