The Best Brownies I have ever eaten!

Ok maybe these are a little bit too big words but … but no! These are the BEST! ;)

So my good old brownie recipe is quite tasty. It’s the best! :D But this time I am going to share a recipe with some extra!

Actually I „stole” this recipe from my Mom. So thank you Mom!

I am not sure, if this is the BIG american brownie recipe but I know that it works every time.

I think this is the easiest thing to bake. You just melt the butter and the chocolate and mix everything together.

The key is not over baking them. And that’s all.

And now the extra part! I saw this idea all over pinterest! So I decided to try this.

For a base we have THE brownie and then (because it’s not enough sugar and calories yet) we add an unbelievably sweet coconuty layer. And on top of the coconut we spread a layer of milk chocolate, just in case. Instant diabetes.

So actually this is a Bounty Brownie!!! Amazing!

It’s so dense even I can only eat one slice!

But if you don’t want to make the coconuty part ( I don’t know why? :D ) you can just try the brownie part cause that’s a must-have.

There isn’t anything better than a warm soft and fudgy (not cakey at all) brownie with some crunchy walnuts and cold vanilla ice cream!! The best thing on the world! Or a fudgy brownie with a sweet coconuty layer and a thin, crispy chocolat cover! You decide!

Okay I need to go and bake some RIGHT NOW!

Warning! The next recipe causes addiction!

Bounty Brownie

Prep Time: 10 min. Baking Time: 25-30 min. Total Time: 2,5 + hours Portion: 12-16 smaller squares

  2. In a large microwave-safe bowl melt the butter and the dark chocolate at 30 seconds intervalls. Let it cool a few minutes.

  3. In a medium bowl mix together the eggs and both sugars or the vanilla extract.

  4. Add the egg mixture to the chocolate and butter and mix it well.

  5. Stir in the flour until it’s combined but don’t overmix!

  6. (If you making just the brownie fold in the walnuts)

  7. Spread the butter in the pan evenly. And put it in the oven to 20-25 minutes. It’s going to be just set, be careful and don’t overbake them.

  8. In a medium bowl mix together the coconut and the condensed milk.

  9. When the brownies are ready take them out and spread the coconuty mixture on top with a spatula. Sprinkle the milk chocolate chips evenly ont he coconut.

  10. Put the pan back to the oven for 5 minutes.

  11. Take the pan out and with a spatula spread the chocolate chips.

  12. Put the pan on a wire rack and let it cool for 2-3 hours, until the top chocolate layer is harden or overnight. The cooler is the easier to slice. Use a big sharp knife to slice them.
